Description

The railings of the churchyard of the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin are made of iron and feature an arrowhead pattern. They completely encircle the churchyard and were created by the firm of Dunday of Ashford, installed between 1835 and 1837. The railings bear the maker's name and represent an unusually long stretch of high-quality craftsmanship. The items in the churchyard, including the railings, are part of a group that also includes several nearby properties on High Street.
