Shorts Farmhouse is a 17th-century building, originally of two storeys. The ground floor has been refaced with red brick, while the upper storey is tile-hung. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, featuring a very tall brick chimneystack. The farmhouse has two casement windows and a doorcase with a flat hood.
