Description

Hyde Abbey Gateway is a 15th-century structure located on the south side of King Alfred Place, built in 1833. It is constructed of flint with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The gateway includes a large four-centred arch for carriages and a smaller arch for foot passengers. Inside, there is an open braced queen post roof. This building is part of a group of listed buildings in King Alfred Place.
