Description

Lavender Mead is a cottage from the late 18th century that encases an earlier building and includes a side range. It is constructed from colourwashed rubble flint with brick dressings and features a thatched roof. The building has an L-shape and is two storeys high with three symmetrical bays. To the right, there is a one-and-a-half storey bay with a service wing located behind it. The central entrance has a mid-19th century gabled porch made of timber and glass. There are two camber-headed windows with three-light leaded casements, and above these, there are two single sash windows with glazing bars.
