Description

No. 64 Canon Street is a late 18th-century building of five storeys. It is constructed of red brick with raised brick strings delineating the floors. A brick eaves cornice runs along the top, and the roof is covered in old tiles. The building has five windows, with a blank panel centrally positioned on the first floor. The central doorway is framed by a moulded architrave and features a heavy, moulded hood with a pediment supported by cut scroll brackets. The reveals are panelled. An arched window is visible on the Culver Road elevation. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set in rubbed brick heads. A six-panel door provides access to the building. A sash window is visible on the Culver Road elevation. The building forms a group with the listed buildings from No. 46 to No. 64.
