Description

This is a table tomb located 4 metres west of the church tower in Bishops Waltham. It is an early 19th century stone rectangular monument featuring a moulded cover slab. Each corner has a tapered pilaster with moulded caps and bases. The tomb also has a moulded base and a panel with an inscription that refers to William Stares, who died in 1837.
