Description

Nos 1 to 5 Abbey Passage is a mid-19th century terrace building. It has two storeys, with a plastered front elevation and brick and flint sides. The roof is a hipped slate mansard style, featuring three brick chimney stacks. There are five dormers with casement windows and five sash windows with intact glazing bars and stone cills. A plain rainwater head is present. The front has five round-headed doorcases with blank fanlights, and the doors are set in recesses. The rear elevation is faced with flint, accented by red brick window dressings and bands, and includes five 19th-century casements and five segmental-headed doorcases.
