Description
The India Arms Public House is a late 18th-century building that likely incorporates elements from a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed structure. It stands two storeys high with an attic and features colourwashed brick and an old tile roof. The façade includes four windows and three dormers, with three windows and a door on the ground floor, although the windows have been altered. The windows retain their glazing bars. There is a large arched entry to the yard on the side, and the wide door is framed by a bracketed architrave with a panelled mane-board above. The listed buildings from No 154 to 159 form a group.
