Description

The mausoleum for the Ire Monger family, built around 1860, is a rectangular stone structure located in the churchyard. It features a plain stone roof with coved eaves that include gargoyle heads. The side walls have shallow panels adorned with shields and ogee heads, set above a bold roll band and a battered base. On the south-west gable, there is an upper vent with a trefoil above two coupled cusped openings, all recessed within a simple pointed frame. A plain horizontal band below the vent ends in shields. The entrance consists of a trefoil opening with four tiers of mouldings, and it is protected by a wrought-iron grille.
