Description
The Vicarage, built in the 18th century with additions from the mid-19th century, is a house made of brick and topped with a tile roof. The south-west elevation features two storeys with a layout of two upper windows, one projecting unit, and three lower windows. The roof is half-hipped, and there are various lower outshots at the rear, which are gabled and half-hipped, with brick dentil eaves. The walls are constructed in English bond, with Flemish bond used for the projecting section that includes a first-floor band. The windows are triple Victorian sashes set in exposed frames. The south-east gable displays timber-framing. At the rear, there are coachhouse and stable buildings, which have tile roofs with bargeboards and walls made of rubble flint and brick. One gable features a medieval cross from the former priory. The boundary wall is constructed of flint and brick bands.
