Description
Home Farm's farmyard ranges date back to 1848 and are constructed of brick with a slate roof. The building features a polygonal layout consisting of six irregular ranges, including one barn. Each bay has a depressed gauged brick arch, with most of them being blank. Some bays contain mullioned windows or stable doors. The side formed by the barn has six bays, with double doors in one of them. On either side, there is flint work that also dates to 1848. The roof was replaced after a fire. Inside, many of the ranges include stabling and calving pens from the late 19th century, which feature the monogram of the Dalgetys.
