Description
This is a late 18th-century to early 19th-century building on Church Street. It is a three-story structure built of red brick, distinguished by a brick dentil eaves cornice. The first floor features three sash windows set in shallow brick reveals, each with rubbed brick voussoirs, and the original glazing bars remain intact. On the ground floor, central shop windows flank a central doorway topped with a fanlight, although a modern fascia now obscures the original, which once extended across the entire front as far as the house door at the northern end. The main door has six panels, some of which are moulded, and it is set in reveals with a rectangular fanlight above. A plain wooden door is also located at the south end of the building.
