Description
The stables located 30 metres west of Breamore House are a stable block built in the 18th century, with some changes made in the 19th century. The walls are constructed of brick in English bond, featuring stone dressings, a plinth, and keys to flat brick arches. The building includes Tuscan pilasters with a frieze and architrave, and brick dentil eaves that replace the original cornice of the Order. The roof is tiled. The symmetrical south elevation showcases three windows on each side of a central feature, which has a pediment enclosing a circular window and an oval carriage arch flanked by round arches. The windows are casements. At each end of the building, there are brick walls with carriageway openings formed by brick piers, which are topped with stone cornices and finials. There are also 19th-century extensions at the rear.
