Description

Lime Trees is a farmhouse and attached stable dating from the early 18th century. The building is constructed of brick, with a timber-frame stack that has brick infill, and features a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a single-storey, four-bay stable at one end. The front of the farmhouse has a central six-flush-panel door that is top-lit and situated under a flat hood supported by cut brackets. There are five 12-pane flush frame sash windows. The gable walls have kneelers and stone copings. The building has end stacks and a stack to the right of the centre. The stable features two-light casement windows.
