Description
This lamp standard, located opposite the junction with Grove Road on the west side of Church Lane, dates from the late 19th to early 20th century. It is made of cast iron and features a fluted and banded column topped with a square lamp. The lamp standards outside Charlwood and at the junction with Grove Road create a cohesive group with the garden wall at Grove Place across the street.
