Description

Kiss Cottage is a building dating from the 18th century to the early 19th century. It has one storey and an attic, featuring painted brick walls with cambered openings. The most notable aspect of the cottage is its thatched roof, which is hipped at the west end and includes eye-brow dormers. The eaves are brought low on the north side, creating a verandah supported by a series of rustic poles that continue along the west side. The cottage has old metal casements, some of which include leaded lights, and a boarded door set in a solid frame. The rear of the building has been modernised and features a slate roof.
