Description

The Barn at Church Farm, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, is a three-bay structure. On the north side, the western section features an aisle with low eaves, while the other two sections project northwards at full height. The main timber frame utilizes a Queen post design, but various alterations have created a complex interior with stud partitions. The roof is covered with red tiles and is half-hipped at the ends, with one half-hipped and one full gable on the north projections. The walls are primarily boarded, but the lower part of the east wall and the aisle wall consist of a brick-nogged frame set on a brick base wall.
