Description
Eastbridge House is an early 19th-century mansion that has its origins in an earlier building. It has been significantly enlarged and consists of two attached units connected by a single-storey block at the angle. The south front features two storeys, with six windows on the upper floor, two western windows below, and a large angled bay with three windows. The slightly taller three-storey west wing has three second-floor windows above two-storey bays, each containing three windows, flanking a central window. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, covered with slate. The walls are finished in stucco, with a band at the second floor and plain openings that have a central recess below a cambered arch in the middle of the west wing. The windows are sash style set in reveals. The single-storey unit has two windows on the west side and a large bay of three windows on the south side. The entrance is located in the south-west corner of the western unit and features a canopy supported by brackets.
