Description
Manor Lodge is a semi-detached house built in the earlier to mid-19th century. It features a construction of flint with white brick quoins and window dressings, creating a symmetrical design alongside its twin, Manor Croft. The building has an advanced outer gabled bay adorned with scalloped and pierced bargeboards and geometric brickwork. It stands two storeys tall and has two windows with unbarred sashes. The ground floor includes an end bay with a canted stone battlemented bay window. A side gabled porch with pierced and scalloped bargeboard adds to its character, and there is a recessed two-storey rear wing. Manor Lodge, along with Manor Cottage, Manor House, and Manor Croft, forms a group of 19th-century flint houses, complete with their garden walls and gate piers. This group is also associated with the nearby Parish Church, Church Place, and other listed buildings on Osborne Road.
