Description
Manor Cottage is an early to mid-19th century building located on Church Path in Fareham. It is constructed of flint with brick quoins and features blue brick and stone window dressings. The roof has been replaced with modern tiles. The facade showcases three gables, with the central gable being larger and positioned over an advanced central bay. The cottage has one and a half storeys and includes three sash windows with late 19th-century glazing. The central entrance features a door with six panels, a gabled wooden porch, and a rectangular fanlight above. The side and rear bargeboards are scalloped and decorated with trefoils. Manor Cottage is part of a group of 19th-century flint houses that includes Manor House, Manor Lodge, and Manor Croft, along with their garden walls and gate piers. This group is also connected to the Parish Church, Church Place, and the listed buildings in Osborne Road.
