Description

Cuckoo Cottage is a 16th and 17th century timber-framed cottage located on Cuckoo Lane in Stubbington. Originally listed under Crofton Lane, the building exhibits square panel framing with herringbone brick nogging. The thatched roof is half-hipped and features a central chimney. The cottage has two storeys and originally had two windows. Modern casements now occupy the ground floor, while the small first-floor sashes have been replaced with modern reproduction leaded casements. A thatched porch is positioned in the centre of the front elevation.
