Description
Murrills is a building located on East Street in Portchester, dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. The oldest part of the structure is the rear wing, while the front wing, which is of a higher elevation, was built in the early 19th century. Both wings are two storeys tall and feature three windows. The facade is finished in stucco, with wide eaves and a hipped slate roof. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. There is an elliptical-shaped porch that includes a round-arched doorway with a semi-circular fanlight above it. An iron balcony is positioned above the porch, with a central first-floor French casement behind it.
