Description
Nos 20 to 24 on High Street in Titchfield is an L-shaped building block from the 18th century, likely incorporating an earlier structure. The building is made of painted brick with corner quoins, while No 24 has a rendered finish. It features an old tiled roof and stands 2 and a half storeys high, with an attic window in the gable end of No 20. There are six windows in total, with two facing south and four facing west; these are sash windows with late 19th-century glazing in No 24, which includes glazing bars. No 20 has a modern brick porch, and No 22 features a six-panelled door, with the top two panels now glazed. Nos 20 to 46, which includes the Bugle Hotel and its outbuilding, form a group, with Nos 44 and 46 noted as buildings of local interest.
