Description
This house, built in the early 19th century, is situated between the Victory Inn and The King and Queen Public House on Hamble High Street. It has two storeys and features a symmetrical facade with three windows. The roof is covered in red tiles, and there is a brick band at the eaves. The walls are constructed in brickwork using Flemish bond, with red stretchers and blue headers. There is a flush band on the first floor made of blue headers, and the ground floor has slightly cambered arches in red. The side gables are in English Garden Wall bond. The house has 16-light sash windows set in exposed frames. The entrance features a delicate doorcase with fluted pilasters and a dentil cornice above the canopy, along with panelled reveals and a six-panelled door.
