Description
The King and Queen Public House is an early 19th-century building located on the north side of Hamble High Street. It features two storeys with a symmetrical front that includes four upper windows above the main entrance. The ground floor has a window-door-window-door-window arrangement. The building has a low-pitched slate roof and is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with stone cills supported on brackets. The windows are sashes set in reveals, and there are round-headed plain doorways. At the rear, there is an extension facing the Rope Walk, designed in the same style, which has one window and rendered walling.
