Description
Firtree Farmhouse is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high and features three windows. The hipped roof, which was re-roofed in the early 19th century, has a large moulded cornice. The walls are constructed of red brick, laid in Flemish and Monk Band patterns, with cambered arches that are flush and quoins made of Bath Stone. There is a plinth at the base. The windows are sash types set in exposed frames, and on the north side, there is a stone bay on the ground floor. The farmhouse also has a coarse Ionic stone porch. At the rear, there is a late 19th-century extension that is of lesser height but maintains a similar style to the original building.
