Description
Mortimers Farmhouse is a traditional group of buildings, originally a house dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. The house is two storeys high. The interior reveals old framework, with some of it exposed on the upper east gable. The exterior is primarily brickwork in English bond, using red bricks with many blue headers, with some areas painted. There is also some brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond. The roof is made of massive red tiles, with a central stack and half-hips at the ends. A gabled cross unit is attached to the west. Windows are casements. The building was at one time divided into two dwellings.
