Description
East Horton Farmhouse is a 16th and 17th century E-shaped building with two storeys. The original wood framing is now only visible in the upper gables. It features a massive red tile roof with Tudor stacks, one gable, and the rest half-hips. The front of the farmhouse has a two-storey projecting gabled porch. On the north side, there are four windows, while the south side has a forward extension at ground floor level with two windows. The walls are constructed of red brick in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with a projecting first floor band, flat arches, and a high plinth with moulding above an English bond base. The windows are small, primarily double casements, and there are two dormers. The building has been recently modernised.
