Description

Oak Cottage dates to the 18th century and may have begun as two cottages. It is two storeys high and five bays wide. The walls are painted brick, with a tiled half-hipped roof. The ground floor has a tripartite window, a simple door within a modern tiled porch, and three more tripartite windows; all four ground floor windows are segment-headed. The first floor contains four casement windows and a blank bay. All windows feature leaded lights. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the roofline. Exposed timber-framing is visible on the right return, with the upper part weather-boarded. A modern single-storey extension is located to the left.
