Description
This is a late 17th-century farmhouse situated on London Road, Holybourne. The building is two storeys high with an attic, originally comprising six bays. It is timber-framed and brick, with an old tile roof. The front facade features a mix of window styles on both floors. The ground floor includes one large modern window, one flush sash window, an 18th-century pedimented porch with fluted Tuscan pilasters accessed by four steps, and two more flush sash windows. A band runs at first-floor level. The first floor has six flush sash windows. A moulded and bracketed frieze is visible. Two hipped dormer windows are incorporated into the roof. The south facade has two flush sash windows on the ground floor, a blank cross window, and three further flush sash windows. Above, the first floor presents two flush sash windows, a casement window, two cross windows, and one blank cross window. The interior retains panelled detailing and an original staircase with balusters.
