Description
Oakley Hall's stable block and courtyard, built in 1860, consists of three single-storeyed ranges. The west side features a tower above a tall archway, while the south side serves as a boundary wall. The building has a tile roof and brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of multi-coloured brick, with red bands, verticals, and surrounds around the cambered openings. The east range includes wide openings, some of which are filled, while the north range has a symmetrical arrangement of windows and doors, highlighted by a central pediment and two hipped dormers for hay-loft doors. The tower boasts a steep chateau roof, a bold parapet, and a cornice treatment in brickwork. It features two upper arched openings (which are filled) and a semi-circular arch with keystones and carved stone caps on the supporting pilasters. The south wall is divided into panels by pilasters, blind arcades, and raised diamond patterns.
