Description

The table tomb located 10 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Peter commemorates Eli Purver, who died on June 15, 1809. It is made of stone and features a cover slab with square edges above a moulding. The tomb has corner pilasters that are topped with moulded caps and bases, and it has short tapered scalloped sides. The base slab also includes a moulding. The sides of the tomb are adorned with oval panels that contain the inscriptions.
