Description
Kiln Farmhouse is a building dating from 1753, with early 19th-century alterations. It stands two storeys high and features three windows. The roof is tiled, and there are brick dentil eaves with tapered stacks at each end. The walls are made of red brick in Flemish bond, with a first-floor band and cambered arches, although some ground-floor openings have been altered. The house has three old sliding sash windows and a Victorian angular bay window on the north side. A brick porch with a pointed arch adds to its character. There are later attachments to the building. The front of the house is incised with the date 1753, while the rear displays the date 1871 marked in blue bricks.
