Description

This is a table tomb made of stone, located 16 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Peter. It commemorates Charles Holdway, who died on February 1, 1837. The tomb features a cover slab with square edges above a moulding. It has corner pilasters that have moulded caps and bases, along with short tapered scalloped sides. The base slab also includes moulding. The sides of the tomb are adorned with oval panels that contain inscriptions.
