Description
The Church of the Holy Trinity was rebuilt on its original site in 1878 by G. G. Scott junior. It features an aisleless nave and chancel, with tile roofing and a narrow boarded belfry at the west end. There is a coupled Tudor stack beside the vestry. The exterior is constructed of flint walling with stone dressings, banding, and a plinth. The windows primarily consist of coupled cusped lights within square frames, with one single light in the chancel and traceried windows at the east end and west gables. A timber-framed porch sits on stone base walls, showcasing heavy frames and cusped bargeboards. The interior is Victorian, although it retains some elements from the earlier church, including a screen and a series of wall monuments dating from the late 18th century and early 19th century.
