Description

Fletching Lodge and Gateway, located on Fletching High Street in Sheffield Park, was originally designed by James Wyatt around 1775. The lodge features a low octagonal tower that stands three storeys high, complete with a staircase turret on the south side. It is constructed of stone and has a castellated parapet. Each floor of the tower has two casement windows. A later addition to the south includes two additional storeys and one window. To the north of the lodge, there is a contemporary archway over the carriage drive, along with a pedestrian archway beyond, both topped with a castellated wall.
