Description
Markwicks, the house and barn adjoining, is a 17th-century building with a single roof span covering both structures. It features a tiled roof and consists of two storeys with two windows. The ground floor is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the upper storey is tile hung. The windows are casement style. At the north end, there is a massive ashlar chimney breast with red brick stacks. The barn is faced with tarred weatherboarding and has a gable in the centre above the wagon entrance, which is fitted with double doors.
