Description
This is a house, now divided into three separate properties. It likely dates back to the 17th century or earlier, although it was significantly altered and given a new facade in the early 19th century, with an L-shaped wing added at that time. The building is two storeys high and has five windows on the original front section, and four on the later wing. The ground floor is built of red brick with grey brick detailing, while the upper floor is covered in tiles. The roof is steeply pitched and tiled, with a central brick chimney stack and an end stack on the original section, and a further brick chimney stack on the later wing. The front windows are casement windows; some have leaded lights, others are metal casements. There are three doorcases, with one on the right side featuring a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. Windows on the left side are 20th-century casements. The L-shaped wing includes a gabled dormer. The rear of the building features a catslide roof, with some gabled and one flat-roofed dormers.
