Description

The Chequers Hotel is an 18th-century building located on the east side of Maresfield High Street. It stands three storeys tall and features five windows. The exterior is constructed of red brick, with a stuccoed stringcourse and an eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and tiled. The windows are adorned with stuccoed keystones and include glazing bars. The entrance is highlighted by a doorway with Doric pilasters and a double cornice.
