Description

These are two cottages, now known as Cherry Tree Cottages at numbers 24 and 26 South Street, East Hoathly. The building likely dates from before 1768, although a chimney stack is marked with that date. The cottages are two storeys high and have five windows. They are constructed of red brick with grey headers laid alternately, and feature a stringcourse. The roof is hipped and tiled. The windows are casement type. There are two stone doorways with segmental arches.
