Description

This is a late 18th-century building situated on the west side of High Street, East Hoathly, originally constructed as a single structure and subsequently divided into three separate units. The building presents two storeys and has six windows. It is constructed of red brick with grey brick headers laid in alternating patterns, topped with a tiled roof. The original glazing bars remain intact in the windows. A plaque affixed to the building notes that it was occupied from 1750 to 1789 by Thomas Turner, who was a diarist, schoolmaster, and general dealer (1720-89).
