Description
A group of three round oast houses and a rectangular granary stand to the north-west of Summerford farmhouse. Likely dating to the 19th century, the oasthouses are built of red brick with grey brick headers and feature conical roofs; two are tiled, while one has a Roman cement finish. The cowls have been removed. A red brick granary with a tiled roof sits to the north-west of the oast houses. The group’s appearance is reminiscent of oasthouses found in Kent.
