Description
The cartshed at the northeast corner of the farmyard at Summerford Farm dates from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features red brick construction with tiled roofs and consists of two ranges arranged in an L shape. The north range is adjacent to the barn and has a gabled roof. This range has five bays built in Flemish bond with dark headers and pilaster buttresses that are weathered to the underside of the eaves on the north side. The later east range has a hipped roof and also contains five bays, opening towards the west side of the farmyard. This structure is listed for its group value only.
