Walnut Tree Cottage and Rushers Cross Cottage are probably 17th century cottages, originally located in Tidebrook and later moved to Rushers Cross, near Mayfield. They are two storeys high and have a four-window front. The exterior is weather-boarded, and the roof is tiled with a half-hipped profile.
