Description
Old Sharnden Manor is a 15th century timber-framed building that has been restored and refronted with red brick, grey headers, and ashlar on the ground floor, while the upper part is clad in weather-boarding. It features a tiled roof and has two storeys with six windows, all of which are casement windows. To the north, the house is connected by a modern section to a former barn and two oasthouses that are now part of the house. The barn, likely from the 17th century, is faced with weather-boarding. The two round oasthouses date from the 19th century and are constructed of red brick with tiled roofs that still retain their cowls.
