Description

Five Gables is an 18th-century house of three storeys and three windows, located on East Street, Mayfield. The house is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof, now featuring three later gables which are tile-hung. The original glazing bars remain intact. A porch with Doric columns provides access to a door with six fielded panels. A modern bay window has been added to the ground floor, extending north of the porch.
