Description

The Old Newsagents, Babbington House and Garden House are an 18th-century building located on the north side of Church Street in Rotherfield. The building is two storeys high and has five windows. It is tile-hung above a red brick base, with a modillion eaves cornice and a tiled roof. The central two bays each contain a doorway with a semi-circular doorstep, a rectangular fanlight, a flat hood supported by brackets, and a door consisting of six fielded panels. A shop window is situated at the east end.
