Description
Lealands Farmhouse is an L-shaped house located on Station Road, Groombridge. The south wing likely dates to the 17th century, while the remainder of the house was constructed in the 18th century. It has two storeys and three windows on each wing. The exterior is painted brick with an eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. The original glazing bars are intact. The central two bays feature a doorway flanked by pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and a projecting cornice. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the rural historic landscape.
