Description

Tanhouse Farmhouse is a T-shaped timber-framed building dating from the 15th century, featuring plaster infilling. The west front has close-studding with a pentice on the northern half, and part of the ground floor is refaced in red brick. The south front is weatherboarded and includes a projecting gable supported by brackets. The roof is tiled, and the building has casement windows. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, containing four windows and two gabled dormers.
