Description

This building began as a free school, established in 1767, as noted by an inscription on the building itself. It is a two-story structure with two windows on the front elevation. The grey lintels above the windows are accented with vertical strips of red brick. A stringcourse runs horizontally across the facade, and the eaves feature a decorative cornice of brick cogging. The roof is tiled. Casement windows are fitted throughout. There are two central doorways, one now blocked, sheltered by a joint flat hood. The ground floor extends to the west with a single window and to the east with two windows.
